This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in a wide range of accounting functions, including account reconciliation, financial reporting, forecasting, accounts receivable and payable, general ledger, bookkeeping, and financial accounting. • Great leadershipJob DetailsResponsibilities:As a Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:1. Overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing.2. Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.3. Managing account reconciliation and financial reporting, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.4. Developing periodic reports for management, providing crucial insights into the company's financial status.5. Utilizing QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry, report generation, and financial analysis.6. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and reporting any variances to the management.7. Conducting regular financial audits to ensure compliance with established policies and regulations.8. Preparing tax returns accurately and ensuring legal compliance in all financial functions.9. Providing guidance on financial accounting and reporting issues, and implementing new accounting policies and procedures as required.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position should have the following qualifications:1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field, preferably in the construction industry.3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.4. Strong knowledge of all aspects of financial and management accounting, including account reconciliation, financial reporting, forecasting, accounts receivable and payable, general ledger, bookkeeping, and financial accounting.5. Experience in payroll processing, tax preparation, financial statements, budgeting, and management accounting.6. Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.8. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.9.
