Job Description Job Description Ambassador Personnel is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Direct Hire Accountant II/III. This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting, costing support, month-end close activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and ongoing financial analysis. The Accountant II/III will also partner with operations and other departments to improve financial processes and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts. * Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting documentation. * Perform detailed financial and data analysis. * Develop and maintain weekly and monthly management reports. * Review BOMs, update inventory costs, and analyze purchasing variances. * Partner with operations, merchandising, supply chain, and other internal teams to explain financial results. * Support process improvement initiatives across multiple functions. * Provide backup support to accounting team members. * Assist with special accounting projects as assigned. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. * 2-5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (required). * Demonstrated stability and consistency in past roles. * Strong proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across departments. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Close attention to detail and accuracy. * Customer-service orientation with the ability to build strong internal and vendor relationships.
