Job Description:

Major Duties and Specific Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to the following:
-- Perform all financial functions for the business, including depositing funds received, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger recording of all financial activities, preparation of monthly financial statements, and grant fund tracking
-- Ensure that all financial activities are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and policies
-- Ensure that spending is properly approved
-- Maintain partner agency accounts and distribute statements
-- Provide documentation for annual financial audit
-- Perform full-scope human resources duties, including advertising job openings, screening candidates, coordinating candidate interviews and hiring decisions with leadership, preemployment screening, onboarding and orientation, payroll, training, employee benefits, leading annual performance review process, and recommending performance-based salary treatment
-- Provide support to all employees and maintain accurate and complete personnel files
-- Ensure that human resources administration meets all legal and requirements
-- Manage compliance administration for all employees, including drivers subject to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements
-- Oversee business operations including telephone, internet, security system, building services, printer and copier services, IT administration, and office supplies and equipment
-- Supervise SNAP Outreach Coordinator, providing training and support, monitoring progress, ensuring compliance, and requesting reimbursement for program
-- Coordinate volunteer services program in conjunction with other leaders
-- Perform other duties as requested or assigned

Requirements:
Education and Experience : Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Five years' experience in financial and/or human resources role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-- Strong accounting/bookkeeping knowledge and experience
-- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and projects and consistently meet deadlines
-- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
-- Excellent customer service and people skills
-- Proficiency with computer software - Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online
-- Ability to become Proficiency with Primarius software
-- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-- Good problem solving skills
-- Self motivated with the ability to interact in a team environment
-- Positive and professional attitude and demeanor
-- Ability to pass a background check
-- Ability to pass preemployment and random drug testing

  • Provide administrative leadership to the front office staff
  • Assess office staff on performance ability
  • Coordinate staffing within the office
  • Maintain office services and flow by organizing and managing office operations and procedures
