Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.

considered. A contract opportunity is available for a certified
Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to provide specialized support
to a high school student within the Atlanta area. This position
focuses on delivering American Sign Language (ASL) II instruction
to fulfill graduation requirements. Location: Atlanta, GA (center
of Atlanta) Position Type: Contract (CSY) Assignment Duration:
March 17, 2026 May 22, 2026 Caseload: One high school student
requiring ASL II instruction Hours: To be determined based on
student needs Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized ASL II
instruction tailored to the students graduation requirements
Collaborate with educational staff and the students support network
to promote academic success Monitor and document student progress
to ensure learning objectives are met Utilize specialized skills in
deaf and hard of hearing education to adapt instructional methods
Qualifications: Active Georgia DOE certification as a Teacher of
the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Demonstrated experience with deaf/hard of
hearing students, particularly at the high school level Proficiency
in American Sign Language, especially ASL II Strong communication
and organizational skills Preferred Experience: 0-2 years:
$46-49/hr 3-5 years: $49-52/hr 6-9 years: $52-55/hr 10 years:
$55-58/hr This role provides a unique opportunity to make a direct
