Our successful automotive technician candidate understands vehicle electrical and computer systems and is able to properly diagnose and fix repairs. Responsibilities:

Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs
Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach
When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes
Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs
Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle's integrated computer system
--- Complete full vehicle check-ins with good detail
--- Complete Installations following all Standard procedures
--- Maintain properly equipped tools
--- Punctuality is a must

Qualifications:

Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus
High school diploma or GED is required
Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory
ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive
--- Any 12volt training is a plus
--- Experience in the field is a plus
