Job Description:

Do you have quality automotive technical skills and a knack for taking a diagnostic approach to problem-solving? We seek a mechanically minded individual looking for an opportunity to join an efficient audio shop team! Our successful technician candidate understands vehicle electrical and computer systems and is able to properly diagnose and install car audio systems ( speakers, decks, alarms, radar detectors, video systems). Responsibilities:

Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process
Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems
Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more
Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business
When needed, conduct routine maintenance such as checking fluids, rotating tires, replacing brake pads, and oil changes
--- Complete full vehicle check-ins with good detail
--- Complete Installations following all Standard procedures
--- Maintain properly equipped tools
--- Punctuality is a must

Qualifications:

Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus
National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired
Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary
High school diploma or GED is required
--- Any 12volt training is a plus
--- Experience in the field is a plus
