Job Description Job Description Automation/Controls Design Engineer Electrical Engineer - Packaging systems, conveyor systems, palletizing systems, automation systems, machinery Acworth, GA Ability and willingness to travel domestically and abroad (less than 20%) Position Overview The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electronic systems and components for various applications. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, and the ability to work on automation systems and machinery design. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electronic circuits and systems for various applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems into larger machinery designs. Conduct testing and validation of electronic components and systems to ensure reliability and performance. Develop and maintain documentation for designs, including schematics and specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronic systems and components during development and production. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into designs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in electronics design and development of machines or automation systems for manufacturing Strong knowledge of automation systems and machinery design. Experience with PLC programming and industrial networks, building panels, drive systems and servo technology. Experience with CAE (EPLAN P8, Autocad Electrical or similar) Good knowledge of pneumatic systems (Festo, SMC brands) ANSI, IEEE, NEC Standards - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
