You will be the Systems Engineer Sr - Skunk Works for the Test Planning and Execution Team which is responsible for Integration and Test (I&T) of Tactical Aviation Vehicle System capabilities, interfacing across Mission System teams to solve system?of?system challenges. What You Will Be Doing As the Systems Engineer Sr - Skunk Works you will be embedded in a multidisciplinary Agile team that drives vehicle system capabilities from cradle to grave. You will champion system?level test automation and serve as the technical liaison for the TP&E organization. “Your responsibilities will include:” Develop test design threads using Cameo within a Model?Based Systems Engineering environment. Deploy and refine mission?based test?design concepts. Execute test and digital?thread activities using Cameo and other tools. Collaborate with engineering disciplines to derive, decompose, and trace requirements. Support I&T activities in lab environments, validating vehicle system functionality and new digital test constructs. Further Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position can be based in either Fort Worth, TX or Marietta, GA Basic Qualifications • Bachelors or above degree in engineering/technical discipline • Experience with verification, integration and test processes, and strong lab skills Desired skills • Working Knowledge of Aircraft Vehicle Systems and Familiarity with the Operational Use of a Modern Tactical Airborne Platform • Experience with Agile SW Development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) • Experience authoring and executing tests • Experience with test automation • Experience with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) • Prior Military, Operations Analysis, or other experience working closely with operators on the use of vehicle systems • A working knowledge of software development, avionics, IT/Infrastructure, systems engineering, or aviation could all prove useful in the collaboration with surrounding disciplines • Experience with Simulation and emulators • First-hand experience coding/scripting software a plus for this System Level Test Position • Experience with GitLab, Atlassian, Ansible, Cucumber Test, 3DX, qTest, Java, or Python a plus • Experience with Rhapsody, MagicDraw, or other MBSE a plus • Active Secret Clearance w/ last completed investigation in last 5 years • Willingness for occasional travel (not expected regularly) Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $102,800 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
