are looking for a Regional EHS Manager to perform these key
functions at our Macon, GA location. If you have strong

growth, please apply today! Position Summary: Develops and
implements policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with
regulations and provides resources to meet the needs of one or more
rapidly changing/growing business units. Serves as a mentor and
trusted resource to employees at all levels of the organization.
Essential Functions: Develops, implements, and evaluates corporate
EHS programs, policies, and proceduresEnsures organization complies
with federal, state, and local regulations for environmentalAudits
the organization's facilities, equipment, procedures, training and
recordkeeping to identify areas of improvement Develops and
implements EHS training program in accordance with master schedule
including new miner training, annual refresher and weekly safety
topics; ensures training materials are current and relevantPromotes
a culture of continual improvement and behavior-based safety
Conducts and/or approves accident investigations; recommends and
implements corrective actions Develops technical and professional
skills within EHS team; ensures team members are cross trained
across divisionsEnsures deadlines are met across divisions for EHS
compliance tasks and agency reportingManages the EHS pre and post
approval process for capital projectsManages the electronic work
order system across all divisions Coordinates with local resources
to manage all plant and mine related environmental plans and
permitsSets SMART goals, performs on-going coaching and addresses
potential opportunities and/or conflicts Follows and adheres to all
QMS procedures and documentation as applicable to position and
department, and as required by ISO, such as CAPAs, document
control, control of records, etc. Other duties as assigned Job
Requirements and Skill Sets: 10 years of experience in an EHS role,
preferably in a mining or manufacturing environment3 years
demonstrated management experienceBachelor's degree in relevant
field of knowledgeStrong interpersonal skills; ability to build
relationships and facilitate learning Strong working knowledge of
MSHA and OSHA regulations Familiar with related reference standards
(ACGIH, ANSI, NIOSH, NFPA, and NEC)Public speaking skills required
Proficiency with computers including all Office products and
internetOne or more certifications preferred: MSP, CMSP, ASP, OHST,
MSHA Instructor, 30 Hour OSHA General Industry, or other
safety-related qualificationsValid driver's license requiredIn
