Job Description:
We are looking for a self-motivated, fun, and energetic person
to oversee training and development in the Macon and Warner Robins
markets. The Regional Training Manager will support a group of
District Managers and restaurants by incorporating systems and
processes to ensure consistent training and development practices.
This position requires the ability to teach and demonstrate brand
excellence. As the Regional Training Manager, you will need to
travel to different locations, track progress, and validate
training.The Regional Training Manager will oversee the training of
managers through proper onboarding and orientation; weekly and
monthly training plans; Training Center classes to develop Shift
managers and Service Managers; and MIT transition interviews. The
Regional Training Manager is also responsible for brand standards
and food safety compliance across their market(s).Regional Training
Manager Expectations include, but are not limited to:
- Communicating with DMs and Regional Managers to identify
training needs and development plans for individuals, including
bench development plan.
- Assist in selecting, developing, and overseeing Certified
Training Managers and Restaurants
- Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
planning to identify possible Shift Managers
- Organization, deployment, and execution of PROS teams for new
restaurant openings
- Implement and monitor company-mandated onboarding/orientation
practices.o 5-day new hire training plan - 100%o Validate entry of
new hires into Popeyes Academyo Ensure that MIT profiles are
correctly entered and assigned in RTI
- Popeyes Academy reporting to the field weeklyo Validation of
Popeyes Academy completion before Team Members work in a position.o
Planning/validation of Team Member cross-training
- Support and track all MIT training and reports.
- Accountability for 100% Manager ServSafe Food Certification
completion
- Accountability for Managers in training turnover %
- District-wide compliance with all Popeyes mandates
- LTO rollout training plan/execution
- Community outreach and in-store celebrations
- Any tasks assigned by direct supervisors.
- Manage team-building program initiatives.
- Continuous HR training to help improve job performance,
minimize workplace incidents, and develop better hiring and
onboarding practices.Task Requirements:
- Support the market with hiring/job fairs as needed.
- Perform Popeyes Academy audits (2 per week)
- Weekly Agenda - Market Training plan
- Monthly training reporting / Monitor Market Success Training
Ranking (weekly)
- Popeyes Certified and requirements / ServSafe proctor if
possible or willing to acquire.Regional Training Manager's Work
Schedule Expectations:1) 5 days/50-hour work weeka. 65% of time
spent in restaurantb. 35% of time spent on admin/planning2) Minimum
of 2 Dinner Shifts per week3) 1 full weekend worked per perioda. 1
additional Saturday shiftb. 1 additional Sunday shift4) Reply to
calls/texts/Teams chat in an appropriate timeframe.5) Reply to
Emails minimum of twice daily [Morning & Afternoon]Background
Requirements:
- Restaurant experience required
- QSR experience preferred
- Multi-unit management required
- Training experience preferred
