Infrastructure Management Services.Title: Director, Finance
Operations & Maintenance - (100% remote but located in
Macon/Atlanta/Philadelphia markets)The Director leads the
evaluation, corrective actions and successful scalable growth of
the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) division from a financial
efficacy perspective. This role will be establishing foundational
methods for assessing profitability, growth and system based
reporting that can be rolled out in a distributed format to all the
regions through the Financial Business Partners (FBP). This
includes leading the analysis of our forecasting to help drive
preventative measures that helps mitigate risk while acting as the
primary finance executive representing the O&M business. This
role is a remote position and will report to the company's CFO with
a strong dotted line to the leaders of the Operations & Maintenance
division.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build out contract evaluation method that can be used with all
FBPs which yields ongoing evaluation of existing contracts to
compare critical cost assumptions and operational metrics to
identify key areas requiring action
- Build and execute the updates/completion of standardized
reporting to include dashboards, financial results vs budget/PY,
routine business updates and other specialized reporting as needed
that are systems driven, repeatable and structured to support easy
to use decision making. Requires partnership with IT, corporate
finance, and business unit leadership.
- Partner with operations leadership to create methodology and
routine for updates to forward looking financial forecasts and
annual budgeting process in order to support proactive actions.
Forecasts include both financial and operational data including
operating metrics and key financial ratios.
- Partner with business unit finance, accounting and corporate
related functional areas to evaluate potential changes to financial
reporting, accounting processes and/or integration of new
acquisitions to ensure that all changes are properly recorded and
implemented within the business unit financial reporting
- Participates in the development of the O&M strategy
including preparation of the 5-year business plan and development
of projections associated with new or proposed strategies. Analyzes
financial performance of specific projects/regions and identifies
strategies to improve results. Works with corporate finance
functions on matters impacting the business unit.
- Partner with the company technology team to implement and
operationalize automated data capture, data warehousing and data
presentation leveraging tools such as Power BI (or other similar)
to improve accuracy and timeliness of data presentation. This role
will be responsible for executing reporting out of Power BI (or
other similar)
- Manages his/her team related to hiring, on-boarding,
performance management, utilization, training, development, salary,
promotions, transfers and terminations. Coaches individual and team
performance and improvement
- Reviews accounting transactions for data accuracy
- Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND
SKILLSEducation/Experience: MBA preferred and/or BS Degree in
Accounting or Finance and 8+ years of experience.Technical:
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (more
importantly MS Excel). Experience with ERP systems, preferably
NetSuite, Microsoft Suite, Hyperion, Power BICommunication:
