  River Edge Behavioral Health is looking to fill the position of Director of Philanthropy to secure financial support for our organization and build lasting relationships with donors and keep them informed on how their financial input is making the world a better place. The Director of Philanthropy will set and achieve fundraising goals, maintain knowledge of fundraisers' interests, and cultivate relationships with fellow employees and volunteers. This role will oversee the River Edge Foundation's REACH (River Edge Achieving Community Health) campaign to ensure services are available to individuals we serve. This role will utilize community resources to identify and build relationships with new donors as well as maintain relationships with existing sponsors. The perfect candidate for this role will also be responsible for preparing letters, grant proposals, and other reports or materials needed for funding opportunities. The Director of Philanthropy will be an active participant in fundraising events, undertake vision trips, and maintain a social media presence.
  
  In this role you will:
  
  • 
    
  • Provide overall leadership for fundraising and development programs; Designs, Implements, and Evaluates all campaign development activities including annual and capital campaigns, major gifts, special events i.e., Golf Tournaments, planned giving, prospect research, grant writing, volunteer management, and donor cultivation
    
  • Work closely with the Foundation Board of Trustees and donors at all levels to develop both long-term and immediate strategies and programs
    
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders such as corporations, foundations, and individuals while expanding and diversifying the donor base through an ongoing cultivation and stewardship program
    
  • Writes or oversees grant proposals and grant evaluation reports.
    
  • Collaborate with River Edge leadership and key stakeholders to cultivate with new donors while maintaining relationships with existing sponsors
    
  • Generate campaign, marketing, community education, and outreach materials.
    
    
    You will need:
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelors' degree in business administration, non-profit management, public policy or related field from an accredited college.
      
    • Four (4) years of experience in fundraising, marketing, event planning, and public relations
      
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and build upon existing campaign success.
      
    • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and non-verbal communication, active listening, negotiating, problem-solving, and decision-making.
      
    • Ability to work outside of standard hours which may include some evenings and/or weekends.
      
    • Valid Georgia Driver's license
      
    • Ability to pass an extensive background check
      
    • Must be able to pass a drug screen
      
    • Fully Covid-19 vaccinated
