About River Edge Behavioral Health
Serving more than 10,000 Georgians, River Edge Behavioral Health
continues to be one of the state's leading resources for mental
health and substance use disorder treatment and support, as well as
services for individuals with intellectual and development
disabilities. The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health
services includes state-of-the-art treatment and support services
for more than 13,000 children, youth, families and adults annually,
who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders,
and developmental disabilities.

River Edge Behavioral Health is looking to fill the position of
Director of Philanthropy to secure financial support for our
organization and build lasting relationships with donors and keep
them informed on how their financial input is making the world a
better place. The Director of Philanthropy will set and achieve
fundraising goals, maintain knowledge of fundraisers' interests,
and cultivate relationships with fellow employees and volunteers.
This role will oversee the River Edge Foundation's REACH (River
Edge Achieving Community Health) campaign to ensure services are
available to individuals we serve. This role will utilize community
resources to identify and build relationships with new donors as
well as maintain relationships with existing sponsors. The perfect
candidate for this role will also be responsible for preparing
letters, grant proposals, and other reports or materials needed for
funding opportunities. The Director of Philanthropy will be an
active participant in fundraising events, undertake vision trips,
and maintain a social media presence.
