    The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring marketing plans and budgets, as well as designing and implementing creative collateral to promote the revenue generating areas. This individual will work with the marketing team to supervise and coordinate all the activities of the Marketing department to reach budget goals. The Marketing Manager will implement marketing plans, manage event advertising budgets, third-party partnerships and promotions to ensure successful event campaigns. He/she is responsible for maintaining relationships with media partners and overseeing the media buying and billing process. He/she will support public relations, promotions & publicity for the venue and the events: concerts, sporting events, meetings, and shows within the facility while developing creative marketing campaigns that promote public/community awareness. This role will pay a salary of $45,000 to $55,000.     . The Macon Centreplex is comprised of the Macon Coliseum and Macon City Auditorium. The Macon Coliseum is home to tenant hockey team, the Macon Mayhem and sits 9,000 patrons. Family shows, concerts, trade shows, GHSA, among others, are frequent entertainment in the venue. The Macon City Auditorium first opened in 1925 and has hosted iconic greats like Otis Redding, The Allman Brothers, and Little Richard. The venue hosts concerts, weddings, private galas, comedy shows, among other events, in its 2,500 seat space. The 10,000 capacity Amphitheater is due to open in Spring of 2024. Responsibilities:
    • Develop solid marketing campaigns to promote concerts/shows coming Macon, explore cross-marketing opportunities throughout the community
    • Create and maintain relationships with local media partners
    • Develop and execute marketing plans to promote all artists/tours
    • Develop and implement creative cash/trade proposals/campaigns with media partners including digital, radio, print, TV and outdoor
    • Manage internal marketing assets for all Macon events, including but not limited to marquees (digital billboards), in-game digital video boards and ticket giveaways, LED ribbons, posters and more
    • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party partners to promote events
    • Develop and execute social media campaigns, email marketing, and promotions to drive ticket sales and fan engagement
    • Draft, distribute and follow-up on all press releases and media pitches for events and venue initiatives.
    • Create and manage brand voice on all social media
    • Manage and update to the venue websites
    • Monitor Social Media networks; administer the scheduling of posts and respond and communicate with fans directly
    • Manage email marketing campaigns and implement initiatives to increase the database
    • Work closely with the Director of Marketing on post-show recaps
    • Collaborate closely with the Box Office to ensure all event aspects are accurate and running accordingly
    • Research and follow current music marketing trends, and venue marketing efforts and implement best practices in the day-to-day activation
    • Analyze marketing efforts and adjust efforts based on learnings, trends and activity
    • Work with team to ensure tours and shows back-of-house experience is up to OVG360 standards. Included but not limited to enhanced food and beverage, welcome signage, artist gifts, organizing trade shots, etc.
    • Create and implement grassroots initiatives for all events
    • Other duties as assigned Qualifications:
        • Required Education: 4 Year Degree
        • Marketing experience minimum of 3-5+ years in marketing/advertising
        • Arena or Venue marketing experience preferred
        • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
        • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
        • Power user of social media tools with a solid understanding of how to drive consumer engagement within online social networks
        • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experiences
        • Ability to work nights, all events, weekends, events and holidays as required Computer and Technology Skills:
          • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS SharePoint and MS Outlook)
          • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications
          • Knowledge of website design
          • Knowledge of CRM software
          • Demonstrated skills in graphic design
            • Minimal Travel (
            • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required. Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
