We are seeking an experienced Director of Information Management to lead and oversee the comprehensive management of all documentation packages throughout the design, construction, and operations phases of our projects. This role requires deep expertise in construction and data center operations documentation, with the ability to implement and maintain best practices for document control, ensuring all records are accurate, complete, and accessible. The Director will work closely with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless flow of critical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead the documentation management strategy for design, construction, and Engineering projects, ensuring that all processes align with company objectives and industry standards.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of documentation packages, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper organization at every stage.
  • Develop and implement documentation policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in documentation processes, ensuring efficient transitions between design, construction, and operational phases.
  • Act as a key liaison with external vendors and contractors, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of documentation.
  • Manage and mentor a team responsible for documentation control, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance.
  • Monitor compliance with documentation standards during audits and inspections, and proactively address any gaps or deficiencies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory changes, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with all relevant documentation practices.
  • Oversee the use of documentation management platforms and systems, such as Box or similar, to ensure the secure and efficient storage of records.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on the status of documentation across all active projects.Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, information management, or a related field.
    • 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level position within construction or data center environments.
    • Extensive experience in managing documentation for large-scale construction and data center operations projects.
    • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing documentation team.
    • Strong knowledge of documentation requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines related to construction and data center operations.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
    • Expertise in documentation control systems and platforms (experience with Box or similar preferred).
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Physical Requirements:
