Coliseum Medical Centers is a 310 bed facility in Macon, GA.
Coliseum is offering a 24-hour emergency room with specialized
pediatric care, inpatient and outpatient surgery options,
rehabilitation programs, behavioral health and diagnostic services.
In addition, CMCs breadth of care options includes specialty
facilities such as the Coliseum Heart Institute, an advanced
cardiac center offering all services from non-invasive cardiology
to open heart surgery, Coliseum Rehabilitation Center, Coliseum
Robotics Institute, Coliseum Cancer Institute, and the Family Ties
Birthing Center (which includes a level III neonatal nursery).
Additionally, the Coliseum Center for Behavioral Health, located on
the campus of Coliseum Medical Centers, provides treatment to
adults with psychiatric and addiction issues. The services provided
include inpatient and outpatient programs, as well as a specialty

We are searching for a Registered Nurse in Case Management. This
Case Manager is a central communicator with payer sources,
physicians and access staff. He/she performs telephonic concurrent
reviews with assigned payer sources. The Case Manager collaborates
with Social Workers and Case Managers for discharge planning
activities. The Case Manager is the central point for communication
for discharge arrangements. The Case Manager also assists with the
efficient operations of the department by answering phones,
ordering supplies, typing/computer entry and retrieving/copying
medical records. Essential Core Functions:
- Provide quality patient care, in keeping with the philosophy
and objectives of the hospital and department.
- Maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice
in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families
and the community.
- Prescribes, delegates and coordinates all nursing care provided
to assigned patients and is responsible for meeting all standards
associated with performance, nursing practice and nursing care.
Qualifications:You should have: Current State of Georgia RN License
required, or recognized compact licensure (subject to Georgia State
Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing
eligibility and duration provisions) Two years nursing experience
in acute care setting, required Case Management experience,

- Registered Nurse required LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- BLS certification required
- Registered Nursing license with the state of Georgia is
- Certification in Case Management, preferred
- EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
- Two years nursing experience in acute care setting,
- Case Management experience, preferred
