As a Physical Therapist, you will provide compassionate care to our patients every day. You will organize and conduct medically prescribed therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part. You will help patients reach maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities. You will be responsible for: Practicing Physical Therapy consistent with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Evaluating, testing, and administering therapy programs for each patient to improve physical function, mobility, health and wellness and reduce pain and discomfort. Using physical means, such as exercise, massage, heat, ice, water and electricity, as prescribed by the physician. Develop rehabilitation goals and objectives that are measurable, described in functional or behavioral terms, and include estimated or relevant time frames for achievement, considering the anticipated discharge. You will complete all appropriate documentation to maximize financial remuneration. Serving as an educator and resource for patients, clients, families, care givers and other direct care providers to assess, instruct, correct, and/or provide information about practice skills and techniques. Participating in the improvement of patient satisfaction, job specific processes, or procedures. Organizes personal time requirements and demonstrates ability to establish priorities for maximum efficiency. What you will need: Bachelor's of Science, Master's of Science, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy Previous experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
