Job Description:

• Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support is preferred for all HCP's but only required in ICU's, PCU, and ER.
• BLS - Basic Life Support is required for all HCP's.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support is required for all Ped's nurses only.
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure is required for Mother Baby, NNICU, or Nursery only.
• Tech Cert Verification - National is preferred for OR Tech/Surg Tech.
• State License 1 Verification must be run within 30 days of start.
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) must be run within 30 days of start.
• NIH Stroke Certification is preferred not required.
• Moderate Sedation certification is required for ICU and ER travelers. Must be updated annually. Prophecy exam can be used in lieu of certification.
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam must be passed with 80% or higher (EXPIRES ANNUALLY).
• Competency Exam must be passed with 80% or higher (EXPIRES ANNUALLY).
• Age Specific Competency Exam must be passed with 80% or higher (EXPIRES ANNUALLY).
• OSHA Mandatory must be passed with 80% or higher (EXPIRES ANNUALLY).
• Conscious Sedation Competency Exam can be used in lieu of Moderate Sedation certification for ICU and ER travelers.
• HIPAA Competency must be passed with 80% or higher (EXPIRES ANNUALLY).
