Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Oncology Nutritionist.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients' nutritional status and provide appropriate medical
nutrition therapy and education
Manage disease-specific dietary needs and assist patients during
chemotherapy treatment
Document assessments and interventions in the electronic medical
record and collaborate with oncologists and clinic staff
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nutritional Services; advanced
degree preferred
Minimum of three years of nutrition experience and at least one
year in oncology
Must obtain RD or RDN certification for the state of Florida before
hire
Experience with procedure entry, insurance, and medical terminology
preferred
Maintenance of Dietetic/Nutritionists licensure and Academy of
Nutrition and Dietetics Registration required; CSO preferred
