Job Title: Certified Surgical First Assistant – CVOR Location: Atlanta, GA Assignment Details: Start Date: August 25, 2025 (Privileging process must be completed before start; approx. 90–120 days) Duration: 11 weeks Shift: 3x12 Hour Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) Call Requirement: 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (subject to change based on departmental needs) Float Requirement: Within facility and scope of practice, including Main OR Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week non-billableOrientation: 13 hours, Required Experience & Skills: Minimum Experience: 3 years as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CVOR); 5 years OR experience preferred Experience in the following areas is REQUIRED: Cardiac Vascular Endovascular Thoracic surgery Heart transplant experience highly preferred Certifications (Required): BLS (American Heart Association) CSFA (or NBSTSA or NCCSA) Preferred Charting & Facility Experience: Charting: Epic Experience in trauma Level I/II and teaching/community hospital settings preferred
