qualified CVICU RN in Atlanta, Georgia, 30309! Pay Information
$2,258 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of immediate post
open heart surgical admission experience required License: GA or
Compact license Certifications: Required experience with Swan Ganz
catheters and epicardial/transvenous pacing wires Must-Have:
Immediate post open heart surgical admission experience Experience
utilizing the manual thermodilution syringe to calculate Cardiac
Index Experience with advanced heart failure, multi-vessel disease,
coronary artery disease, pulmonary hypertension, and valvular heart
disease Description: The CVICU is a 42-bed unit specializing in
open heart surgery. The unit averages 6-8 bypass pump surgical
cases per day. Post-surgical heart transplants and LVAD cases are
also treated within the unit. Common bedside procedures include
assisting with bronchoscopy, intubation, tracheostomy, central line
insertions, arterial line placements, and Swan Ganz catheter
insertions. Every other weekend availability is required. No
on-call duties. Floating within facility/scope of practice may be
necessary. Travelers are expected to work major holidays as needed.
Compliance with all requirements is essential to start on time.
