working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in
Macon, Georgia, 31201! Job Title: RN - Emergency Department

Experience: Minimum of 2 years ED RN experience required License:
Current RN license Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support)
required - BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) required - traveler will be
required to pass an EKG competency exam as part of compliance -
ACLS - PALS - TNCC - Emergency nursing national certification -
preferred but not required Must-Have: - Experience in Level 1
Trauma emergency room nursing - Proficient with drips: Heparin,
Insulin, Cardene, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Fentanyl, Propofol,
Levophed Description: The Emergency Department is comprised of 61
plus surge beds. The patient census is variable, often exceeding
61. Common patient types include chest pain, strokes, diabetes,
abdominal pain, motor vehicle collisions, hypertension, stabbings,
and mental health concerns. Patient ratios are typically RN: 1:4,
depending on the assigned zone. Support staff in the department
includes CNAs, unit secretaries, charge nurses, phlebotomists,
respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists available
24/7. Central telemetry monitoring is available in the ER.
Technology and equipment utilized include an EMR system, IV pumps,
medication dispensing systems, cardiac telemetry monitors, and
vital sign monitors. The department operates with a team-oriented
culture. Weekend rotation consists of 5-6 weekend shifts out of a
12-shift schedule over a six-week cycle. Holiday expectations
include working one shift of each major holiday. Requests for time
