Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Macon, Georgia,

Description: The role involves working in a busy, team-oriented
environment. This position encompasses care for patients in MedSurg
and Telemetry units. Patient demographics include various inpatient
medical surgical cases. The RN to patient ratio ranges from 1:4 to
1:6. Nursing Assistants provide support with vital signs, blood
glucose checks, bathing, and feeding as needed. The position
requires skills in tracheostomy care and chest tube management.
Experience with peripheral IV starts and management of common drips
such as insulin and heparin is essential. Travelers will float
across all MedSurg/Telemetry units as necessary. Telemetry
monitoring is performed through a central telemetry unit. The
facility uses an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system for
documentation. Familiarity with IV pumps and medication dispensing
systems is required. Team resources include a Rapid Response team,
Hospitalists, Intensivists, and a dedicated telemetry tech. The
unit is equipped to facilitate comprehensive patient care and
support continuous monitoring. An EKG competency exam will be
required during onboarding. A collaborative and dynamic work
