Job Title: RN - CVOR Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 5 years in CVOR; 2 years for General OR License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Experience in cardiovascular procedures, teamwork, and commitment to patient safety Description: This is a full-time RN position in the cardiovascular operating room. The facility has 637 licensed beds and a Level 1 Trauma designation. It serves as a teaching hospital with specialized care centers. The unit includes 20 OR rooms and 2 Cysto rooms. The types of surgeries performed include general surgery, orthopedic procedures, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular surgeries such as open-heart and valve replacements. Candidates must hold a valid RN license and preferred certifications. Discussion regarding specific skills required will occur during the interview with the hiring manager.
