Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Fayetteville, Georgia, 30214! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU
Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum 1 year in specialty License: Compact or state license
required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Experience in
inpatient PACU - Skills in arterial line management - Knowledge of
dysrhythmia recognition and management - Competence in blood
product administration - Proficiency in central line care and
management - Experience with IV vasopressors and narcotics/opioid
analgesics - Familiarity with reversal agents and external
ventricular drain (EVD) management - Ability to perform ICP
monitoring - Care experience for ventilated patients - Knowledge of
conscious sedation - Competence in post-epidural management -
Skills in pain assessment and management, including PCA pump
management - Understanding of RASS (Richmond Agitation Sedation
Scale) - Experience with a variety of surgical procedures including
orthopedic, gynecological, GU, and general surgeries Description:
The position involves providing care for patients undergoing heavy
orthopedic, gynecological, GU, and general surgeries. Requires
participation in weekend call rotations. First on-call
responsibilities include 4 shifts, with 3 second on-call shifts,
including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Floating to other areas
within the facility may be required based on scope of practice. If
assigned, the traveler will be expected to work during one or two
major holidays. If three major holidays occur during the assignment
period, the traveler is expected to work two of those holidays.
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New
Year's Day. Full compliance with requirements is necessary for
on-time start. Prices and fees are not applicable for this role.
