Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Inpatient Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM with call responsibilities • Float to Cobb facility for training as needed • Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation • Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics • Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care • Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and collaborative communication • Function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies with decisive, composed manner • Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff • Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement activities • Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), BLS certification • Associates or Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred • Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school • Direct patient care experience preferred • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required • Excellent time management and critical thinking skills essential • Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology for clinical care Facility: This healthcare facility operates as part of a comprehensive health system that emphasizes evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.
