Job Description:
We are seeking a board eligible/board certified Palliative
Medicine physician to expand our current palliative care service
line, by offering inpatient and limited outpatient services in the
Atlanta GA area. Job Duties & Responsibilities Join an established
collaborative and collegial inpatient palliative care team
comprised of one physician, a dedicated full-time LPN, and a
full-time licensed social worker and help us develop an outpatient
program that will enhance and grow the Palliative Care services
Function as a program builder by overseeing the design &
implementation of an outpatient palliative care clinic, to
ultimately include Home Based Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner
program. Experience practicing Palliative Medicine in an acute care
hospital setting with program management experience preferred.
Education Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care through
American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine Board certified
in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or General Surgery
Completion of an accredited Palliative Medicine Fellowship Current
GA Medical License or must meet eligibility requirements Schedule:
Monday Friday (5 days/40 hours per week). Salary: $250K guarantee
with additional medical director earnings available plus $50K sign
on/$50 start date incentives, relocation and full benefits package.
