Job Title: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: RN Licensure Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: Experience in interventional radiology procedures Description: Top diagnoses and procedures include port placement, Y-90 treatment, adrenal vein sampling, liver biopsy, abdominal biopsy, deep bone biopsy, G-tube placement, central venous catheter placement, removal and replacement, percutaneous nephrostomy placement, and IVC filter placement and removal. Common medications used include sedation medications such as Versed, Fentanyl, Dilaudid, and antibiotics.
