to find a qualified Oncology RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701! Job

Certifications: BLS, preferred NIHSS Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years
of experience in oncology medical surgical Description: Must reside
within a 75-mile radius of the facility. Unit provides care for
oncology patients on a medical surgical floor. The facility has 29
beds. Patients may present with acute oncology symptoms,
thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, sickle cell crisis, and end-of-life
care. Travelers will only work on the designated floor; no
first-time travelers are accepted. Patient-to-nurse ratios are
typically 1:5, with occasional 1:6. Central telemetry monitoring is
available, but reading strips is not a requirement. Floating to
other departments is rare. An average of 3 nurse aides are present
per day to assist with patient care. Weekend work is required every
other weekend, with rotation for holidays. Charge nurses are
outside of the staffing grid unless unusual circumstances arise.
The charting system used at the facility is MEDITECH. This position
is within an acute care setting, providing nursing services. 5
