Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Certified Surgical Technologist preferred - Flexibility to accommodate call requirements Description: The position involves working in an operating room environment. You will be part of a team managing a busy surgical schedule, with an average of 55-60 cases per day. The facility handles a wide variety of cases, excluding major pediatrics and transplants. You should have experience in full-service surgical cases, including orthopedics, neurology, and robotics. Call requirements include being available for on-call shifts approximately every 7th weekend, with a 30-minute response time. Scrubbing is preferred but not required for the role. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, and prepared to adapt to the needs of the service. A minimum of 2–3 years of experience is required. Charting will be conducted using a specific electronic medical record system.
