recently updated to enhance the working environment. Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) will employ the nursing process, which
includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and
evaluation, to deliver personalized nursing care to residents. This
role involves collaboration with residents, their families, and
interdisciplinary team members, including healthcare providers, to
plan, execute, and assess care. The RN will demonstrate proficiency
and operate within the full spectrum of nursing knowledge, adhering
to age and population-specific standards relevant to their clinical
area. The RN will be responsible for all aspects of preventative
care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Key
responsibilities include: Coordinating resident care Conducting
resident assessments Providing resident education Implementing
various nursing interventions In addition, the RN may take on the
role of charge nurse, delegating appropriate tasks to both licensed
and unlicensed assistive personnel, ensuring that all duties align
with job descriptions, skill sets, resident care needs, and the
competencies of those delegated. The RN will provide necessary
support to ensure safe and effective resident care and address any
service concerns. This position operates within the guidelines set
forth by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the
state of practice and licensure. The organization adheres to the
Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses
as established by the American Nurses Association. Qualifications
Applicants should ideally be graduates of a nationally accredited
nursing program, such as those recognized by the Commission on
Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for
Education in Nursing (ACEN), or the National League for Nursing
Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). A
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred. Candidates must possess
a valid, unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in
the state where they will practice, or hold multistate licensure if
in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. It is essential to obtain
and maintain the required competencies and certifications specific
