Experience: Minimum 2 years for General OR, 5 years for CVOR
License: RN license required Certifications: BLS; CST preferred
Must-Have: Experience with general surgery, orthopedic surgery,
neurosurgery, and cardiovascular surgery. Ability to work
collaboratively and maintain a focus on patient safety.
Description: The Operating Room is seeking an experienced RN to
join our team. This facility has 637 licensed beds and a Level 1
Trauma Designation. It is also a teaching hospital with a Chest
Pain Center and Stroke Center. The unit contains 20 OR rooms and 2
Cysto rooms. We perform a variety of surgical procedures, including
GYN, general, plastics, ENT, robotics, colorectal, orthopedic,
neurosurgery, and cardiovascular surgeries. Candidates must have 2
years of experience in General OR and 5 years in CVOR. First-time
travelers will be considered based on experience. Candidates should
possess a BLS certification and hold graduation from an accredited
program. A CST certification is preferred. Technology used includes
EMR: EPIC Optime, IV Pumps: Alaris, and dispensing: Pyxis. Weekend
and holiday call rotations are required, with 6-8 calls per month
expected. A one-week orientation to the facility will be provided
to help with the onboarding process. Teamwork and inclusion are
