A registered nurse is sought for a night shift role in a stepdown clinical environment, working as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team focused on delivering individualized, high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough nursing assessments, develop patient-centered care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions. Deliver culturally competent care tailored to diverse patient populations. Engage patients and families in care decisions through effective communication and bedside reporting. Ensure safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration and accurate documentation. Participate actively in professional development, performance improvement initiatives, and shared governance activities. Mentor peers and contribute to creating a supportive clinical environment. Administer IV Heparin and manage acute care scenarios with composure and critical thinking. Qualifications & Desired Experience Registered Nurse licensure (RN single state or multi-state compact) required. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications mandatory upon hire. Completion of an accredited nursing program; Bachelors degree preferred. Less than one year experience acceptable with completed clinical hours; prior direct patient care experience preferred. Proficiency in technology and electronic documentation systems. Strong critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills. Experience with IV Heparin administration highly desired.
