Albany, Georgia, 31701! Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse

2 years in an Acute Care setting License: Required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, ASLS or NIHSS. TNCC is preferred. Must-Have: -
Minimum of 2 years of ER experience - Meditech 6.15 experience
required - Highly preferred travel experience or 5 years in a Level
1 Trauma Facility Description: This position requires adherence to
a 75-mile radius rule. The address on the traveler’s driver’s
license must be within this radius. COVID Immunization is not
required, but unvaccinated individuals must agree to weekly
testing. Candidates may receive a clinical interview or an
"auto-offer" based on profile and skills review. Emergency Room
Nurses will take an online Cardiac Rhythms test administered by the
hiring organization and must achieve a minimum passing score of
80%. They will also take an ESI Triage Exam during orientation;
remediation will be provided if necessary. The unit includes 25
monitored beds, 6 fast treatment beds, 6 fast treatment chairs, 2
trauma bays, a recess bay, and a dedicated stroke room. There is a
4-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatric personnel.
Approximately 140 patients visit the emergency department per day,
ranging from pediatric to geriatric cases. Trauma cases are kept at
this location while others may be referred to specialty facilities.
Required patient nurse ratios will be maintained at 1 to 4. Nurses
start their own IVs, and a respiratory team is available 24/7
dedicated to the emergency room. Weekend requirements include
working every 3-4 weekends, and holiday coverage is every other
holiday. Floor-specific orientation will vary based on comfort
level, typically ranging from 1-2 shifts. Common patient diagnoses
include trauma and neurological conditions, and cardiovascular
emergencies are treated on-site. Candidates should have experience
with triage and will be preferred if familiar with ESI triage
training. Experience with Alaris pumps is advantageous. 5 Benefits
