Job Title: RN Clinical Periop Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 4 days a week Experience: Minimum of 2 years OR experience required License: Registered Nurse (Single State) or Multi-State Compact Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - Instructor required Must-Have: Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; excellent time management skills; strong critical thinking and analytical skills Description: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers. They ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high-quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment administered by Nurse Managers and supported by a shared governance model. The framework for practice is guided by a professional practice model and evidence-based practice and research. RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by core competencies. All RN Clinical Nurses are expected to be licensed, knowledgeable, and uphold the practice of nursing.
