Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Albany, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,200 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Acute Care (Medical Surgical) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: Day shift Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in Medical Surgical Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in an acute care medical surgical setting. The unit comprises 44 beds with a staff of 40. Nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 1:5, with the possibility of 1:6 for both day and night shifts. Nursing aides are available, with ratios typically of 1:8 to 1:10, and sitters for more intensive care needs. Shifts run from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, and weekend work is required every other week. Holidays may be required as needed. Charting is done using a specific electronic medical record system, familiarity preferred but not mandatory. General orientation will include training on electronic medical records. Floating to acute care and other assignments may be necessary to meet patient needs. The community offers various safe and clean housing options, regularly available for staff. This position may require working closely with cardio and acute care patients.
