Job Description Job Description Active Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) license and minimum 1 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to provide dedicated
health support for a high school student in a school setting in
Cartersville, GA. This role offers the opportunity to work closely
with a student requiring one-on-one nursing care throughout the
school year, from August 5th, 2026 to May 26th, 2027.
Responsibilities include: Providing 1:1 nursing support to a female
high school student with complex medical needs Monitoring seizures
and managing Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) devices Assisting with
mobility and wheelchair care Potentially managing G-Tube feeding
and associated care procedures Collaborating with school staff to
ensure a safe and supportive learning environment Documenting
health records and communicating health status updates as needed
Qualifications: Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in
the state of Georgia Previous experience working 1:1 with students
or in a school health environment preferred Comfort and skill in
managing medical devices such as VNS and G-Tubes Familiarity with
seizure monitoring and emergency response protocols Compassionate,
patient-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills Location:
Cartersville, GA Cass High School Schedule: Full-time,
approximately 37.5 hours per week Duration: Contract position for
