Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (SICU RN) to join our team in Albany, Georgia. In this role, you will be an integral part of a highly skilled team, directly contributing to the healing and recovery of patients in critical condition post-surgery. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest level of care. This position is perfect for those who thrive in dynamic and critical healthcare environments and are passionate about impacting patient outcomes positively. Monitor and assess patient status in the post-surgical phase, adjusting care plans as needed. Administer medications, maintain patient records, and ensure all care meets compliance standards. Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to manage treatments and interventions. Educate and support patients and their families on post-operative care and health management. Prepare for and assist with diagnostic tests and surgical procedures. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Excellent clinical skills with the ability to work under pressure Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented, especially in monitoring and documentation Medical Insurance Valid Registered Nursing (RN) license Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
