Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Albany, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 17 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Acute Med Surg Acute Care /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM /n• Every other weekend rotation with permanent staff /n• Patient ratio of 1:6 for both day and night shifts /n• Must have minimum 2 years of acute care medical surgical experience /n• At least 1 successful travel contract required /n• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS /n• ACLS preferred /n• BSN not required /n• Must have experience at larger organizations with high acuity, high turnover, and fast pace /n• Care for patients with diabetes, CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, dialysis patients, post-surgical overflow, amputations, wound care, DVTs, ETOH, and psychiatric patients /n• Administer medications including Lasix, Bumex, and Heparin /n• May need to perform CNA tasks when needed (turning patients, assisting to restroom, bed baths) /n• Work with CPAP equipment and BiPAP at night /n• May float to other acute care units and cardio for medical patients /n• Charting system: MEDITECH /n• Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs or white scrubs, natural polished nails only /n• Strict attendance policy enforced /n• 75-mile radius rule applies /n• Cancellation policy: 12 hours every 2 weeks /n/n Facility: /n This 483-bed main campus hospital provides comprehensive acute care services with a focus on high-quality patient care and safety.
