Occupational Therapist Location: Canton, GA Agency: Bluebix Health Inc Pay: $50 to $55 per hour Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position No local candidates within 50 miles Schedule 830a-5p Varies 13 weeks 734C Occupational Therapy - Occupational Therapist An Occupational Therapist helps patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and working skills after injury, illness, or disability. Acute Care OT department, supporting acute care patients from physician orders throughout the hospital. Supports wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological, orthopedics and general debility. Key Responsibilities Assess patients’ physical, mental, and emotional abilities Create personalized treatment plans Help patients improve daily activities (dressing, eating, working, etc.) Teach use of adaptive equipment (wheelchairs, splints, etc.) Work with patients recovering from strokes, injuries, or developmental issues Track progress and adjust therapy plans Work Settings Hospitals Setting experience Requirements Requirements: Min of 2 years of experience within specialty. Required BLS GA License - OT One Chart - Cerner Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy License/registration (varies by country) Skills Required Communication and patience Problem-solving Empathy and interpersonal skills Physical stamina
