Job Description:
Title: Cardiovascular/Thoracic Nurse Requirements: - Minimum 2
years clinical experience - License: GA or Compact license -
Certifications: ACLS required; BLS noted - Preferred: Community
hospital experience; Trauma Level I/II experience Roles &
Responsibilities: - Provide nursing care for patients undergoing
cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries. - Assist in procedures such
as CABG, valve procedures, and robotic thoracic assistance. -
Monitor patient vital signs and health status pre, during, and
post-operation. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to
ensure optimal patient care. - Maintain aseptic technique and
manage instruments and supplies appropriately. Compliance / Notes:
- RTO (requested time off) required at time of submission; maximum
7 days. - Holiday coverage may be required if major holidays occur
during assignment. - Full compliance required to start on time;
missing compliance may delay start. - Compliance document deadline
is Tuesday prior to start.
