What You ll Do
- Provide comprehensive neonatal care for critically ill and
premature newborns in a Level III NICU
- Manage an average daily census of approximately 7 8
NICU patients
- Attend and manage high-risk deliveries
- Provide care for healthy newborns in the newborn nursery
- Collaborate closely with Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)
and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in continuous 24/7 onsite neonatal
coverage
- Support evidence-based, family-centered neonatal care and
contribute to quality improvement and patient safety
initiatives
- Participate in collaborative clinical practice; potential
leadership opportunities for qualified candidates
What You Need
Required
- Completion of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellowship
training
- Board eligibility (eligible for boards)
- Residency within the immediate local area for this permanent
role (relocation may be required)
Preferred
- Experience working within a NICU setting (Level III preferred,
if applicable)
- Comfort working in a high-collaboration, multidisciplinary
environment
