Job Description:

A company is looking for a Manager Technical Development Services (Drug Product).
Key responsibilities:

Serve as drug product Subject Matter Expert (SME) in areas of formulation, pharmaceutical equipment, manufacturing processes and technologies, troubleshooting, and product quality issues
Provide proactive improvements to increase process and product robustness, manufacturing efficiencies, product quality and supply reliability across the internal and external sites
Provide project management and/or technical guidance for execution of drug product technical transfers and API/excipient source changes

Required qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a science discipline and 5 years of relevant industry experience. A PhD or Master's degree in a science discipline strongly preferred
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing unit operations, particularly solid oral dose, from development through commercial scale with firm understanding of process equipment
A working knowledge of US and other Regulatory Agency and Board of Health regulations, standards, practices, and guidance that govern the industry
A working knowledge of statistical data analysis and designed experiments
A strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical materials and materials sciences is strongly preferred
