Job Description:
Cox Automotive, a leader in automotive services, is seeking a
Senior Lead Cloud Security Architect to join our IT and
Cybersecurity team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design
and implementation of secure cloud architectures, applying your
deep expertise in cloud security best practices to safeguard our
comprehensive suite of automotive solutions. You will work closely
with cross-functional teams to ensure that our cloud environments
support the secure operations of applications that car
manufacturers, dealers, and buyers depend on. Lead the design and
implementation of cloud security architectures across multiple
providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Develop and enforce cloud
security policies and procedures in accordance with industry best
practices. Conduct risk assessments and security audits, and
recommend mitigations to address identified vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls with
existing infrastructure and DevOps pipelines. Provide leadership
and guidance to junior team members, shaping the team's skills and
work ethic. Stay updated with the latest in cloud security
developments and technologies. Facilitate training and
developmental opportunities for team members on the latest cloud
security techniques and tools. Strong understanding of cloud
architecture and its security concerns. Experienced with cloud
service providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Proficient in
implementing and managing security solutions: IAM, SSO, ACLs,
firewall, and security audits. Ability to translate security
policies and procedures into technical architecture. Strong
