Job Description:

part of something bigger. Position Purpose: Decision Analytics
associates produce insights that answer key enterprise questions
around budget, priorities, courses of action, and important
decisions. They develop frameworks for analysis by identifying the
right metrics for consistent, effective insights that drive
business outcomes. Decision Analytics associates are skilled in
advanced analytics and analytical tools and languages such as GCP
Big Query, Python, R, SQL, Jupyter Notebook, Adobe Analytics, and
Tableau. While they may have the ability to support model
development and AI/ML work, they are primarily focused on internal
business insights (i.e., business intelligence). Decision Analytics
associates possess the domain expertise to understand the
businesses they support with their analysis. Lead Decision
Analytics associates serve as data strategy consultants for the ELT
within the online and provide answers to strategic questions. They
develop KPI Frameworks to measure performance (ex. Success of
marketing campaigns and ensure partnership with operational
analysts in the merchandising and marketing orgs to support their
understanding of the frameworks, so they can run their own
analysis. Associates in this role build and maintain dashboards and
develop reports capturing the performance of ongoing initiatives
for leadership. Our goal is to scale experimentation from current
state to 10x, provide thought leadership, introduce new testing
approaches, and ensure readouts are statistical significant. This
person will also train and coach team members and partner with
stakeholders and teams on statistics involved in Experimentation.
They also should be willing to dive deep into adhoc analysis and
insights around the test results to ensure consistent and succinct
user story. Key Responsibilities: 20% - Business Collaboration -
Leverage extensive business knowledge into solution approach.
Effectively develop trust and collaboration with internal customers
and cross-functional teams. Partner with Other Orgs to understand
potential for new tools and ways to maintain technical agility for
advanced analytics. 25% - Project Management & Team Support - Lead
and manage large and complex projects and teams. Provide direction
on prioritization of work and ensure quality of work. Collaborate
with managers and team in the distribution of workload and
resources. Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) on both
predictive and prescriptive analytics. Drive effective Agile
project delivery protocols to assure we gather and surface
reliable, actionable enterprise level analytics. Ensure the team
comprehends and applies the established processes and standards and
mentor team on development. 30% - Solution Development -
Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to both
technical and non-technical leaders and business
customers/partners. Clearly communicate impacts of recommendations
to drive alignment and appropriate implementation. Develops
solutions to transform data into useful, actionable information?.
25% - Technical Exploration & Development - Guide and direct
project teams in the requirements gathering, design, and
development of complex applications/programs. Provide technical
education on advanced analytics to analytics community. Drive
analytics teams to get matured in predictive and prescriptive
analytics. Direct Manager/Direct Reports: This position reports to
the Senior Manager or Above This position has 0 direct reports
Travel Requirements: Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20%
of the time. Physical Requirements: Most of the time is spent
sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity
to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or
lift light articles. Working Conditions: Located in a comfortable
indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not
objectionable. Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or
older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in setting
up and running AB tests, evaluation and reporting Deeper knowledge
of statistical concepts like Central Limit theorem, T tests,
Normality etc., is preferred Master's degree in a quantitative
field (Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, etc.) Working
knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point Manage requests and
roadmaps for insights for the online merchandising, marketing, and
ELT organizations Produce deep, statistical analysis in service of
predictive insights Ability to partner with requesting
organizations to build KPI frameworks Ability to code in Python, R,
SQL, Jupyter Notebook, VertexAI and AutoML Ability to visualize
data using Tableau Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and data
visualization Demonstrated expertise in how to translate analysis
into effective presentations Demonstrated expertise utilizing data
analysis to identify key insights that help solve business problems
Minimum Education: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically
acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or
equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job. Preferred
Education: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired
through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent
degree in a field of study related to the job. Minimum Years of
