following job description: The Lead Data Governance Consultant is
responsible for supporting Data Governance across the enterprise,
enabling business growth while ensuring compliance with risk and
regulatory expectations. The position partners with various
business and technology stakeholders to influence and drive
adoption of related Enterprise Data Management strategies,
policies, standards and control frameworks. The role evaluates
established and emerging data practices and technologies to drive
the team's direction, while implementing innovative processes and
solutions to provide competitive advantage while meeting rigorous
control and oversight mandates. For this opportunity: Truist will

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the enterprise Authorized
Provisioning Point / Authorized Data Source program within the AI &
Data Organization. Define a data domain based model, partner with
stakeholders across architecture, technology delivery, and the LOB
to define strategies and implementation roadmaps to bring the
program into reality. Lead program execution and asset
certification. Draft and maintain corresponding policies,
frameworks, standards, and procedures. Support data-products
strategy and intersection with enterprise ontologies. Define and
implement operating model to cover data asset ownership and data
stewardship. Support the implementation of core data management and
governance capabilities against identified data assets. Following

and maintain policies, standards and technology in support of
enterprise Data Governance. Create and implement processes and
procedures to support data standards and control frameworks.
Provide subject matter expertise in the planning and execution of
data management activities such as data sourcing, metadata
management, data quality, data privacy or records management. Drive
solution design and execution of multi-pronged data governance
efforts that span across platforms and business/technology areas to
address enterprise data needs. Implement strategic data governance
capabilities by working with business and technology partners to
document requirements and create action plans. Perform oversight
and inspection of critical data management practices for adherence
to established data policies and control frameworks. Identify data
issues and work with technology, risk and business partners to
triage, track, communicate, mitigate and remediate the issues to
closure. Support the production of metrics and measures to track
progress and adherence, escalating as needed to various committees
for visibility and program accountability. Understand and integrate
relevant regulations and industry trends into work plans, exploring
emerging frameworks and assessing feasibility using proof of
concepts. Collaborate closely with peer teams to ensure
coordination, synergy and seamless overall execution. Champion and
drive improvement in enterprise data management practices
throughout the organization. QUALIFICATIONS Required
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of

field, ten years of experience in roles with increasing
responsibilities in technology, data management, governance, risk
or related practice or equivalent education and related training or
experience Large program strategic planning/execution across
multiple functions Preferred Qualifications: Expert-level
experience implementing enterprise data governance operating
models, including stewardship councils, ownership structures, and
governance forums. Leadership experience driving cloud data
governance across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud,
including security, lineage, and metadata automation. Background
establishing and overseeing enterprise data quality programs,
including metrics, scorecards, automated controls, and executive
reporting. Experience leading adoption of data governance platforms
such as Collibra, Informatica Axon, Alation, or equivalent at
scale. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive
alignment across federated or highly matrixed environments.
Experience governing AI/ML data practices including training data
controls, bias assessments, lineage traceability, and responsible
AI frameworks. Track record in coaching and mentoring data
stewards, analysts, and governance practitioners to uplift
enterprise capability. Master of Business Administration (MBA) or
other graduate or advanced-level certification History of effective
performance within shared service, matrix or federated environments
Internal or external consulting experience Experience with
formalized organizational assessment practices (e.g. Capability
Maturity Model), including implementation of recommended
improvements Knowledge of data tools and platforms used for
managing, storing, querying, testing, loading and transforming data
(e.g. SAS, Informatica, Oracle, Teradata) or relevant data
certifications (e.g. CIPP, CIPM) OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING
