Salary: $70,000 - $82,500 per year A bit about us: Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced litigation paralegal to join their firm in Forsyth County. The opportunity is with an established mid-sized firm that specializes in representing government entities across the state of Georgia in general civil litigation, real estate law, complex government contracts, land use & zoning, and employment law. We are seeking candidates with at least 3 years of civil litigation experience in a busy environment and a Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program. The incoming paralegal will provide support to 2 partners for a wide range of litigation matters involving real estate, land use, zoning, condemnations, and municipal law. We are seeking a dynamic self starter with a strong work ethic who values teamwork, organizational culture, and growth. Interested candidates must have strong foundational knowledge of Georgia Superior Court Rules and experience with e-filing. Candidates with previous eminent domain/condemnation, real estate, or real property litigation experience are encouraged to apply. Key job responsibilities include: Case Management: Provide litigation support to multiple attorneys for real estate, condemnation, eminent domain, and other general civil litigation matters. Track and manage case deadlines, including court dates, filing deadlines, and other critical milestones. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, real estate transactions documents, motions, and subpoenas. E-filing Act as a primary liaison between the attorney and clients. Conduct legal research on real estate laws, zoning regulations, property disputes, and other relevant issues. Effectively collaborate with other team members and work independently as needed. Monitor and ensure compliance with court orders, settlement agreements, and other legal obligations.
