Koch Foods, a leading player in the U.S. poultry processing industry, seeks a dedicated OTR CDL Driver to join our logistics team. This role is pivotal as it involves long-haul transportation duties aimed at ensuring efficient delivery of our fresh and frozen poultry products across a variety of destinations. Safely operate and navigate a commercial vehicle over long distances in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Load, secure, transport, and deliver goods in accordance with company protocols. Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service history as per legal and company requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to report any incidents, delays, or delivery issues. Adhere to company-specific and regulatory safety standards to minimize risks and maximize safety on the road. Proficient in operating large vehicles and holding a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License). Capable of managing time effectively for delivery schedules. Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle mechanics. Good communication skills for reporting and management of delivery documents. Must hold a valid Class A CDL with no severe traffic violations. Hazmat endorsement is considered a plus but not required.
