Manager - Roswell, GA This role is responsible for the Supply Chain
Planning processes that supports the review of the Executive
business plan and follow up, with decision making regarding demand
and operations plans, using S&OP and S&OE routines that
help this decision making and action plans. The purpose is to
anticipate, integrate and orchestrate the demand with the supply
chain processes (manufacture, logistics and procurement) to
maximize customer service (Fill rate) and minimize supply chain
costs and expenses. This role will also work with multiple
functions in this process including Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain,
Finance, Transportation, Procurement and Production. The S&OP
Manager will manage three direct reports, Demand Planner,
Operations Planner and Master Data and Reports. Essential Functions
& Key Responsibilities: Analyze, Plan, Design and implement
S&OP, S&OE and IBP processes: Maintain rigor in the monthly
and weekly process and ensuring a seamless and efficient generation
and handoff of information to global and site supply chain
functions. Management of the Portfolio, Demand, Supply,
Pre-S&OP and Executive Meetings. Align with key stakeholders in
Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance on supply and demand
planning. Analyze and communicate issues to the Executive board
which needs to decide and or take action. Establish the governance
and performance management for S&OP in company aligned with the
corporate policies and standards. Coordinates the activities of
department management and provides direction and assistance on
resolution of complex issues and potential problems related to
production planning and demand management. Develop a strategic
roadmap to improve S&OP maturity, enables process design and
adoption through technology and analytics. Aligns strategic roadmap
with key stakeholders across the company. Accountable to define key
metrics of S&OP and track benefits and improvements to the
business. Aligns resources, prioritizes strategies, establishes
targets, and implements cost-out initiatives for S&OP and
efforts. Channels continuous improvement ideas to the executive
team and selects suitable ones to turn into projects. Analyze,
collaborate, and provide guidance to the S&OP and S&OE
processes: Collaboration with the Demand Planner to ensure that
portfolio changes are planned with multifunctional team.
Collaboration with the Demand Planner to ensure demand review
process happens on time, helping the multifunctional team to comply
with the requirements and actively participate and contribute as
per their defined roles. As well as to ensure the monthly and
weekly meetings of the S&OP, S&OE process. Collaboration
with the Supply planner to ensure that the supply review process is
followed and is provided as input to monthly and weekly meetings of
the S&OP and S&OE process. Collaboration with Demand &
Supply planner as well as Data Master Coordinator to enrich and
control the data that will be used in the tool. Assist/advise the
planners as they prepare for the S&OP meetings, reconciling
supply to demand, aligning with the financial plans and
understanding the financial implications of different scenarios.
Ensure that decisions from the meeting are communicated to each
function/department/team and if necessary, ensure that execution is
taking place. Support hiring, onboarding, and training of demand
and supply planners as well as data master coordinator on the
different functions of processes and engage them on key
expectations. Use metrics and analytical tools to understand areas
for opportunity and change. Report metrics back the owners,
executives, and the team to identify progress, root causes for
correction or process improvement. Perform analytics of the metrics
with the help of the demand and supply planner as well as data
master coordinator. Prepare and lead monthly S&OP Process:
Define, communicate and lead the monthly S&OP Calendar Lead the
monthly and weekly routines (Demand Review, Supply Review and
Executive Review) Communicate to the operations the agreed sales
plan and guidelines derived from it. Review the previous week and
monthly KPIs. This ensures we are on track with the metrics
outlined and also putting in place processes or measures to improve
or maintain those metrics. Develop, analyze, and implement request
from the executive leadership: Prepare information to help address
major issues that come up and will impact S&OP metrics.
Involved in process to propose to the executive VPs the list of
SKU's to be approved for continuity or elimination from our
portfolio. Identify opportunity areas of the business to generate
the necessary savings. Continuous recommendation to executive
leadership regarding procedures, software for S&OP improvement.
Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial
Engineering or related field, MBA preferred. 8 years' prior Supply
Chain experience 6 years' prior Sales and Operations Planning
experience. 5 years' experience with Lean Six Sigma principles. 2
years' SAP-MRP Module 1 year of SQL Advanced proficiency in
