AHN0616 - Radiologic Technologist - Macon, GA - 13 Weeks Contract

Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for Radiologic Tech to work onsite at contracted facilities in Macon, GA.

Shift: 8:00 hr - Days

Essential Functions Include But Are Not Limited To:

• 
  
• Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as
  
• Directed by physicians.
  
• Instruct patients regarding procedures to ensure cooperation and optimum test results.
  
• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
  
• Maintain ultrasound and vascular lab equipment in appropriate operating condition.
  
• Maintain examination rooms and work areas. Order and stock all ultrasound and vascular
  
• Lab supplies.
  
  
  Additional Responsibilities:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Experience in vascular, general, specials and echo are needed.
    
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
    
  • Work as a team member within the ultrasound department and all other departments.
    
  • Document work processes as required.
    
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    
    
    Qualifications:
    
    Education:
    
    
    • 
      
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
      
    • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program required.
      
      
      Certification/Licensure:
      
      
      • 
        
      • RDMS, ARRT certification is required.
        
      • Must be certified in X-ray.
        
      • Current BLS required.
        
      • Current GA State Licensure.
        
        Experience:
        
        
        • 
          
        • Minimum two (2) years' experience.
          
        • Experience in vascular, general, specials and echo are needed.
