Senior Project Manager What You Will Be Doing Visual
Communications is seeking a strategic and results-driven Project
Manager to lead complex creative initiatives and serve as a trusted
partner to stakeholders and leadership. This role advances
operational excellence through proactive risk management, portfolio
insight, and fiscal stewardship—championing a strategy-first,
value-always mindset that strengthens organizational performance.
The Project Manager Staff leads complex, high-visibility projects
and serves as a strategic partner to internal customers and
creative leadership. This role operates with significant autonomy
and plays a key role in improving operational consistency, fiscal
discipline, and portfolio performance across Visual Communications.
In addition to managing projects, the Level 4 PM mentors junior
project managers and contributes to process optimization and best
practice development. Key Responsibilities Strategic Project
Leadership -Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from intake
through closure -Serve as senior point of contact for key
stakeholders -Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and success
metrics in collaboration with leadership -Anticipate risks and
implement mitigation strategies early -Manage scope changes with
structured change control processes Financial & Portfolio
Stewardship -Oversee large or complex budgets with strong fiscal
discipline -Analyze project data and trends to inform operational
decisions -Monitor resource utilization and recommend adjustments
to optimize capacity -Provide portfolio-level reporting and
insights to leadership Operational Excellence & Mentorship
-Identify and implement workflow improvements across the team
-Promote best practices in project documentation and data integrity
-Mentor Level 2 and Level 3 project managers -Support onboarding
and training initiatives Executive Communication -Provide clear,
concise updates to senior stakeholders -Facilitate high-level
alignment discussions -Balance creative quality, speed, and fiscal
responsibility Basic Qualifications 5 years of project management
experience Experience managing complex, cross-functional creative
projects Demonstrated experience managing budgets and stakeholder
relationships Experience analyzing project metrics and performance
data Experience mentoring or informally leading others Experience
using project management systems (Workamajig preferred) Desired
skills Experience in defense or aerospace industry Project
Management certification (PMP or equivalent) Strong executive
presence and stakeholder management skills Experience improving

Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee
selected for this position will work part of their work schedule
remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed
during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed
Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide
additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from
standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be
condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with
additional time away from the office and are in addition to our
Paid Time off benefits. Security Clearance Information This
position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US
Citizen for consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range
for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York
(excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii,
Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or
Washington DC is $95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced
above, the salary range for this position will reflect the
candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life

Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state
applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at
least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for
incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours
for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of
Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually;
receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave,
and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the
calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major
metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is
$109,200 - $189,290. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
